The size is generally high, about 5-10 kilo is ususal.
Larger pikes, 10-14 kilos, is a reality.

Ljusdals
municipality has a fantastic pikefishing. The lakes are
crowded with pikes between 7-10 kilos. In this part of Sweden
the pikes
have a safe and secure existence. It depends on little fishing
after the pike. We have thousands of lakes there no one have
fished in years.
Great opportunity to catch your 10-kilos pike!
Lake Tevsjön(a part of river Ljusnans watersystem) hides the
biggest specimens. You´ll have a great chans to catch a pike
between 10-12 kilo! The biggest pikes in lake Tevsjön weighs
nearly 18 kilo!

Besides the pikefishing you have good fishing after other species
such as pike-perch and perch. If you´re lucky you can even catch
a really big trout. They are hard to get, but when they strike
your lure.....hold on!
Perch saves the day
Lake Växnan and lake Storsjön are two smaller lakes, with about
the same size on the pikes. You´ll also find a large quantity
of big perches - an excellent substitute when the pikes won´t
bite your lure.
Going for the "Grizzlys"
The best season after pike is in the autumn. During that period
the pike´s are biting often. The pikes are almost as
hungry as a large Grizzlybear - they have to eat so much as
possible so they can manage the long and hard winter.
Daily catch of 15-20 big pikes are possible.

FISHINGMETHODS:
Trolling, jearkbait, jigg, angling with live bait
PIKEFISHING-OFFER:
BEST SEASON:
September-october when the big pikes are increasing their
search for food before the winter.
GUIDING:
1-5 days on the great lakes Tevsjön, Växnan and Storsjön.
Here you can find pikes in weights up to 18 kilos.
A few days on a smaller lake, with possibilitys of catching
many pikes in weights between 3-5 kilos.
Price:
1 day fishing costs 1500 SEK for each person.
SUITABLE NUMBER OF PERSONS:
2-4 persons.
NOTICE: You must bring your own Fishingequipment
because is not included in the price. Of course it must be
suitable for the kind of fishing/package you choose.
