Lasse caught his eagerly awaited big grayling

JÄRVSÖ Lasse Carlsson from Ljungby, Småland, visited hälsingland for a few days to try the "mayflie-fishing! A big grayling was on top of his wish list so Ljussjön was an obvius choise. Unfortunatly the weathergods weren´t so friendly during the three day-visit,

and good weather is really important when your fish in Ljussjön.

The wind couldn´t decide where to come from, and our fishing had to be concentrated to the
hatching-period in the afternoon.

During the few moments the wind calmed down we caught quite a lot of graylings.
Fur of the biggest weighed from 1 kilo to 1,3 kilo Lasse did furthermore caught many smaller graylings around 1/2 kg.

All graylings but one were released.

Windy weather at lake Gräningen
We made a visit to at windy lake Gräningen. Even here the fish did bite - against all odds. We were forced to anker by a wellknown fishspot and flyfished "blindly".

Lake Gräningens trout was a lively excercise. A trout has considerable more speed than a big grayling.

"Worth every penny"
Four wild fighting trouts of a smaller size. At least two of the trouts was the lakes "own" (there´s a selfreproducing type of trouts in lake Gräningen)
Despite horrible weather Lasse was more than pleased. It was worth every penny going all the way from Småland up to lake Ljussjön.

Here comes the trout...
